Moroni City will hold a public hearing Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 7 p.m. to receive public comment regarding the following proposed ordinance/amendments at the Moroni City Community Center, 80 South 200 West, Moroni, UT.
- Accessory Dwelling Unit: Proposed ordinance. An ADU is a second residence within the Residential Zone on the same lot as a single-family home.
An ADU can be created through converting existing living area within a single-family dwelling; An ADU can also be created by converting an existing or newly constructed detached accessory building into a single-family unit. These lots cannot be split, and the property owner must live in one of the units.
- Use and Storage of Recreational Coaches, Boats, and Boat Trailers: Proposed amendment to city code 10-7-5, removing current vague language and adding specifics on the use and storage.
- Landscaping: Proposed amendment to city code 10-4A-14 Other Requirements, adding additional clarification of the requirements of landscaping.
