Construction Update from UDOT

Moroni City received this information this morning from the Utah Department of Transportation; they asked us to pass it along to residents.

Hello residents of Moroni,zone-clipart-construction-sign-md

The State Route 132 rehabilitation project has begun. Construction work started July 26th 2016, and is expected to last until mid October.

What to expect

The first phase of this project involves installing ADA compliant pedestrian ramps at Moroni Main Street and Fountain Green State Street intersections.

The second phase consists of milling and repaving State Route 132 from Moroni to Fountain Green. During repaving crews will maintain one lane of traffic in both directions.

Notices

While crews are working on pedestrian ramps, please do your best to keep any sprinklers you have from spraying the sidewalks where they are working. Water runoff into the work area causes mud that significantly delays the excavation and concrete work they are performing and will slow the overall progress of the project.

During construction please slow down at locations where crews are working and obey all signs and flaggers.

This schedule is subject to change due to weather or materials availability.
