Notice of Municipal Offices to be voted on in the Moroni City Municipal General Election on November 7, 2017:
Mayor, 4 year term
(2) City Council Members, 4 year term each
(2) City Council Members, 2 year term each
Candidate filing period begins June 1, 2017.
Declaration of Candidacy forms or nomination petitions must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 80 South 200 West, Moroni, UT between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
Monday-Friday.
Candidate filing deadline is Wednesday, June 7, 2017
Qualifications for a candidate are:
1. Be a United States Citizens
2. Be a registered voter of the municipality
3. Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
4. Must not be a convicted felon, unless their right to hold elective office has been restored.
